I have a CX-12 Tenor
C and the highest slide out blow reed is broken. I have an aging Chromonica
270 Tenor C and I'm wondering if there is a way to "transplant" the good reed to
the CX-12. Is this possible? Absent that, what are my options? Hohner tells
me I'm looking at a $100 plus repair.
