Much money is wasted on expensive exotic tubes.  I suggest you first
try the Tung Sol reissue 6L6 STR.  They are very economical with a
great warm tone. $39.95 for a matched pair from Tube Depot in Memphis.

I've used these in a few different amp and have always been pleased
