hey, if it has screws holding the mpc in place, like the hohner 270 deluxes, then just loosen them up and see if the sliding gets better (as the tone gets worse, of course) lots of guys here know lots of stuff, but few are psychic enough to tell what kind of harmonica you're fighting with...
