For those with an interest in the RP pedals it should be pointed out that my slight reservations about the distorted sounds of the RP, in a post the other day, most surely to a relevant degree has to do with the PA I was using for my test driving.
  When I now listen to the sound samples on Richard Hunter´s home page they give a considerably more credible version of amplifier distortion, less trebly and with a rounder break up than what I was able to produce.
  I´ll look for another better PA/amplifier for my next testing session.
