RE: [Harp-L] Bulletizer works!

Seconded! Greg made me a really nice Ultimate 57 with Bulletizer and I kind of thought it would be a Mic I'd use alongside my Bullet.

But the more I use it the more I can't put it down. It works really well with both my harp amp and through the RP355 into a PA AND it's great for getting hand effects into your amplified playing too.

The other thing is that you can put it in a Mic stand and play acoustic into it.

Job done.

(I still crave one of Greg's wood mics though.......)

Subject: [Harp-L] Bulletizer works!

I bought the Bulletizer (from Greg Heumann -Blowsmeaway) to convert my old SM57 into a backup harp mic. Not only is the stick mic more comfortable to hold but the tone is crunchier as well - I think the Bulletizer reflects harp frequencies into the mic element overloading it a bit more to produce the added distortion. As a result I can turn down the amp gain (Digitech RP) and still get a great blues tone. With no amp gain the Bulletized 57 still sounds clean enough for other music styles. The Bulletized 57 is now the main mic. Highly recommended - thanks Greg
