[Harp-L] RE: NYC open stages, places to play, harp things to check out, etc

On most Monday nights, John Paris (great guitarist, harp player, bass player; yeah, that guy) hosts a jam at BB Kings (Lucille's) on 42nd St. from around 9 pm to past midnight. Then, Ritchie Cannata (sax player of Billy Joel vintage fame) hosts a great jam at the Bitter End (Bleeker St., in the Village) from around 11:30/midnight to about 3 am. You need to get on the list if you want to play: Frosty Lawson used to be in the man w/ the clipboard, not sure if that's still the case. If you go to that one, tell Jim Moran, the guitarist, that The Professor sent you.

I'll be in NYC June 7th-11th.

Any recommendations on blues/harp associated open stage jams, harp related
shows to check out, blues clubs, bands, etc?
I'm staying in lower Manhattan (Soho @ Spring & W Broadway).

Thanks List!
