Hallelujah. Maybe there will be a "discovery" regarding reasonable volume as the newest latest thing. You sure can play better harmonica in a blues band that plays at a reasonable volume.

When I heard Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and Howling' Wolf live they all played 
at a very reasonable sound levels - lower than a lot of blues bands playing 
today...

My new blues band - the Madcat Midnight Blues Journey - plays at a very 
reasonable volume.
