Re: [Harp-L] Buying new harp

Sometime we buy new harps thinking they are going to be some magic bulitt
and make us play better. I agree with Michael, play one brand and stick with
it with several keys. Besides the sp20 is a great harp and one of my
favorites. I have most of the brands you talked about and I keep gravitating
back to the SP20.
Customizing one or 2 (thanks Joe Spires) makes a huge difference too.

I agree with Michael. Stick with one make and model while you are learning
the keys and cross-keys.

In terms of online music stores, Coast to Coast isnt bad, but they can't
beat Rockin Ron.

Stick with Special 20's for around 5 harps. That way you are
comparing the keys only, not the models. You are learning only about
how keys affect the harp. Once you get a sense for keys, buy
different brands in keys you already have, then you are learning to
compare brands.

Lee Oscar, etc. Any advice? By the way, which is the best online harp store?
I heard that Coast to Coast is a best deal. Look forward to your replies.
