I'm downloading it from iTunes now... I've always been a big Maret fan!

I was lucky enough to attend a very special concert this past Saturday in San Francisco where Gregoire was subbing for Toots, who had cancelled his US tour at the last minute. Toots is apparently fine, but needed some rest from the road, and he asked Gregoire to fill in for this SFJAZZ show. I'm hoping to have time to write more about this fantastic evening, but for now I'll just say that Gregoire handled the situation beautifully and played at the top of his game. If any of all the assembled Toots fans were disappointed, it sure didn't seem like it, what with the standing o's and wild applause. It was a fabulous and beautiful tribute to Toots.
