Yeah, the clarity seems to be because this is a BIG production, and they weren't taking any chances. I watched 16 of these videos and some of them looked 'canned' from a sound standpoint. 

A few (strictly personal) observations.
1.... Looks like the Adler Trio has met their match.
2.... Kinda blows that 'World's greatest classical player' all the way out the window.
3.... Bet these people sure can kiss.
