[Harp-L] Tech 21 Update. Tube amps for sale.

Well, sorry I don't have much to add. The sound guy for the night's gig was
a very nice man who was very ignorant. He's a DJ, which I guess mean all he
can do is plug an mp3 player into the aux jack on the PA. He had no idea
how to run sound for a band. Wouldn't give us ANY sound hardly at all in
our monitors. And I think he had reverb running on all the channels, so it
was really muddy. Anyway, what with the fiasco of sound management tonight,
I don't have anything to add about the amp beyond what I posted earlier. It
seemed to work fine. I only used it for guitar tonight though, and just
played harp through the PA vocal mics. But I'll give everyone an update
when I know more. So far it looks like it's gonna work out for me and be
exactly what I need in an amp.

So I'm thinking about selling all my tube amps. Harpgear 2. Peavey Classic
30 Head. Marshall Class 5 Combo. Sonny Junior 2 (the 6x8). And my big bass
amp, a Peavey Mark IV with 4x10 cab (it's SS by the way, not tube). I
really don't know about the Sonny, though. It used to be John Popper's,
which is pretty cool, and I know if I sell it I'll never get another one.
Only 185 of 'em were made, and who knows how many of those are still
functioning. I suppose if the price is right. If you're interested in any
of these, contact me off list. I'll probably put 'em up on Craigslist and
Ebay at some point.

About the bass amp... I'm not playing that through the Tech 21. I recently
acquired a Line 6 Lowdown 110. SS with speaker emulated XLR out. It's tiny
and will plug into the PA like the Tech 21.
