Yes, depending on your flavor of blues.
Traditional delta blues and Chicago city blues, sure. Lotsa minor
pentatonic, flat 3rds and 7ths.
Lee (Oskar) plays expressive blues moving between Major and Minor
intervals. Very nice! If you are a successful draw-bender, you can
play 3rds and 7ths flatted at will on a Melody Maker.
BONUS
LO MM play their relative minor as well, starts at blow 2. Perfect
Pentatonic minor for blues! Try it!
TO CLARIFY
LO major plates in C play 5P in E. Since the GMM is C plates, Em is the
relative minor of G, and 5P on a C harp. (whew)
