Minor detail. Sounds like flanging which sweeps with peaks and notches the
full range of frequencies. Phase shifting affects only part of the
frequency range depending on the number of stages employed.

At medium to fast speeds, flanging is too severe for most music., whereas
phasing can become a nice lumpy bubbling sound somewhat resembling the
Leslie organ cabinet.

NOTHING perfectly simulates the Leslie. Close, but not for true believers!

Chorus is generally even more subtle (less prominent?) than Phasing. Chorus
is contrived to simulate two of the same sounds in unison, with tiny pitch
variations to approximate the imperfect mismatch you would get by
overdubbing your voice or instrument.
