If you can adjust a regular harp you can adjust an XB 40. Same concepts. If your problem is a blow unbent, for instance, adjust the main blow reed. If it's blow bend problem, adjust the slave draw reed. If draw, adjust main draw, if draw bend problem, adjust the slave blow reed.  If you are in doubt which is which, blow on it, then feel with a finger which reed is vibrating. 
I love working on XB 40s, I really respect the design. They are ultra cool.
