I've always been able to buy a Larry Adler chromatic here in the land of the 
free and the brave.  That goes back to the 60s. There may have been a period 
when Hohner wasn't able to market Larry Adlers here.  But I don't think so. 
Perhaps some of the older members of harp-l can set the record straight. 
I'm not proud of the blacklisting period in US history.  But let's not add 
any more inaccuracy to the story than already exists.  Dan Axt
