Re: [Harp-L] How the Turboslide actually works
Joe is absolutely correct injecting "teeny". I intentionally left it out to preserve my button-punching phalange, which was exhausted due to "her" greatly enhanced and re-priorityized "honey do" list. The painting, pruning and re-screening is progressing quite well, thank you. And obviously my indexer has recovered. Now back to work.

Technically, the main differences with the Seydel version (TH-09) is that the latter employs stainless steel reeds which are intrinsically paramagnetic, whereas the S20 uses non-magnetic brass reeds. We overcome this limitation by attaching teeny tiny magnets to the reeds. (Previously, we had coated them with magnetic material.) And as a result, they can be configured either to bend down, or bend up!
