One could probably get an Accutronics compact tank in there for reverb. 
 
What I think would be even cooler is to combine the Excelsior with the other amp in the Pawn Shop line: the Greta.

Maybe paint it or leather wrap it to make it match the Excelsior better, but use it as a preamp head with the line out. With the VU meter on it, it'd make one hell of a vintage look.
