The 8 draw reed just went flat on my Hammond, so I was considering putting
the cover plates on one of my Manji's because I also find them a bit
uncomfortable. The holes on the Hammond are in the center and they are in
the front on the Manji. What procedure are you guys using to make the swap?
Another option would be to try and re tune the Hammond reed, as a new
player , this is the first reed I have had go bad, I have no reed filing
experience, this may be the best time to get some?. How successful have you
all been when it comes to retuning a reed?
