Hi Bud,
You do not want to fall into bad habits early. Once you can hit single blow
and draw notes on holes 1-7, it would then be a good time for a lesson.
There are many various levels of lessons online. I would then listen
extensively to both Walters and both Sonnyboys. That is if you are interested in
playing blues of course.
Then move on to Junior Wells and some James Cotten. Then maybe some
William Clarke and Kim Wilson. Wealth of learning out there. The journey is
endless!
Good lick, I mean luck :)

Bud,
As a new player myself, I've found that just enjoying the practice, maybe
mixing it up a bit and not setting benchmarks and expectations has really
added to the enjoyment. Really the first thing I've done where the complete
barometer of success is simply enjoying the process. No doubt I could be
progressing faster - but what the heck=)

Greetings,
I am happy to report that I have made some good progress in 2 months since
I purchased my first Lee Oskar key of C harmonica. I am practicing every
day. Single notes are coming along nicely. What if any advice for trying
to speed up between notes? If practice and patience are the answer, I am
good with that.. I just don't want to go down the wrong road.
Thank you,
Bud Wyman
