[Harp-L] Double Olive Taster with Christelle in Sydney

I'm now in Jakarta, Indonesia, for the last stint of my 10 week Asian tour.
Last week I did some gigs in Australia with Tim Edey, and visited Christelle
at her home in Bondi after the Sydney show for some lunch and music. We
decided to do a duo video featuring the new Suzuki Olive C-20 diatonic, just
released at last week's NAMM Show:

The Olive has a black composite wood fibre/resin comb, as pioneered on the
Manji. The covers are in the same style as the ProMaster but coated in a
lustrous olive green coating. The black and olive colour combination gives
it a cool kind of military look, I think. The Olive has the same new
high-precision reedplates as the Manji and is in tempered tuning for playing
easily in different keys.

 

We both use C harps. The one I play in the video is tuned to PowerBender and
half-valved, but Christelle's is stock out of the box. One fun take!
