Has anyone mesured the slot sizes of the thunderbird?
Steve answers:
The T-Bird uses the standard Hohner Classic long reed slot mensur, same as on the other Marine Band models in standard keys from C down to G. Longer reeds wouldn't be possible due to the size of the instrument. The reeds on the lower channels are thicker to compensate for this.
