It so happens that the adjusting mechanism also makes the reeds easily
replaceable.

Another intriguing idea!! 
A tuning screw that could change reed pitch by 50 cents would be a boon. 50
cents would be plenty!
I find that filing reeds to re-tune my harps is a tedious and sometimes
frustrating task. 


I would suggest that if you design such a harp, that you also make it easy
to replace the reed since reeds (on my diatonic harps) do eventually poop
out over time. Just a thought.
