Sorry Mick. Just kidding. We all have our personal tastes. I like Willie, but I am more a fan of his songwriting. Same with Dylan. But Butterfield is my favorite blues harp guy.
I prefer the simpler, more raw music. I am a huge fan of certain types of country music with spare arrangements.
I appreciate the massive talent of Howard Levy, but don't really care to listen to him very long. Mickey Raphael was an early influence on me. I think he is vastly under-appreciated. Nobody does more with fewer notes. I guess I am too dumb to understand all that complicated stuff.
(I could send you a few hours worth of Butterfield to listen to over the holiday.) Kidding.
