I almost always mic my amp into the PA. The only exception is if the gig lineup is a smaller version of our usual band, like a trio. If I'm using my Kalamazoo, and the stage or room isn't condusive to having another mic set up (be it for lack of space or risk of feedback), then I'll use my line out into the PA, but it's speaker driven so it amounts to pretty much the same thing.
