[Harp-L] Shuttle to SPAH Blues Off

It has been noted on the hotel's sign up sheet that there will be a blues event on Tuesday evening and the hotel will provide sign up sheets at the front desk. 
Though they do have 3 vans, only 1 van will be available to us, on a first come first serve basis. This hotel has a lot of other airport traffic coming through the hotel as well as our group, and the hotel's first priority is picking up people, including our SPAH Convention Attendees, from the airport in a timely manner. The heat and humidity is a big concern and they do not want people waiting any longer than they have to, in the heat. So when the vans have airport pick-ups that is understandably their priority.

As a secondary measure to hotel shuttles I have secured a new suburban from Grapevine taxi marked with a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet marked âblues blow-off- shuttleââon the passenger front window as a second mode of transportation to the Westin vans. I have secured their services from 7p.m. to midnight to shuttle folks back and forth. Thanks to Tom Stryker for his help and I will be picking up the remaining financial slack. Please tip the van drivers to off set additional expenses to Tom and me. My red ford van may also have room as we pick the harmonica performers starting at 7:00/8:00 and 10:00 ish to go to the venue to play at the Blow-Off. Itâs marked with a sign as well. Last van will leave at 11:45pm back to the Westin. Looking Forward to a great night of music!
