[Harp-L] Re: Runaway - Bonnie Raitt

Runaway lays so beautifully on a fourkey-tuned harmonica that it sometimes feels like Del Shannon wrote it for this instrument! I play it on an Ab fourkey harp, which can play the Ab, Eb, Bb, and F major keys without bending. But the key of F is played mostly on the blow notes, and the key of Ab is played mostly on the draw notes. So the key change that others see as a need to switch instruments is, for a fourkey player, largely a shift from blows to draws.
But I admit that, in the organ-solo section, I simplify the sixteenth notes down to eighth notes.

It can be played on one harp (an F) as Winslow suggested. It is also worth
exploring with 4 harps (F, Eb, Db, and C), too, just for the experience.
