That's my fault, Michelle. I can't do it with chromatics but thought
perhaps it's something I could work on with diatonics since I have to change my
whole approach for those.

I'm not sure when/why this discussion became focused on diatonics, but
FWIW Douglas Tate once told me that he used his glottal stop to
articulate nearly every note (Douglas was, of course, a chromatic
virtuoso).
