[Harp-L] Problems with a cx-12

Hello everyone, I need some advice. I have a cx-12 that's been sitting around. 
Decided to get serious on learning to play it. Have couple of problems
1. button has detached from the slide . what should be the best way to glue it 
on or attach it. and is there anything needed on positioning the slide in the 
button

2. The slide sticks even after cleaning it.could it be there is too much tension 
from the back bar .
