Hi Tony -

The first thing I would check is that the metal slide is flush with the plastic button. Just pull the slide out of the harp and inspect where it joins the button. It should not be possible to push it further into the button -- if it is, push it all the way in.  
Sometimes it pulls out a bit making it instantly very leaky.
