[Harp-L] Delay unit's question et al... (Ed Vedock)

I have read all the posts and know what you are all saying and I agree. I know the feeling of being all practiced-up only to end up playing "air harmonica" because I hear nothing of my efforts. When I'm in a blue state I must use my basic delay pedal with whatever of 3 tube amps I have or play in my empty garage for the rich echo. Been in total harp joy at a live Paul and Annie show when she's on the cupped harp mic thru her electonic system(s). Have listened to the local bues harp hero trading licks with James Cotton playing with no thought of germs thru the same harmonica, vintage mic, small vintage Fender tube amp mic'd thru the PA. Standing out side getting breathable air there was no doubt whose turn it was on the harp. It was like that old saying: Fatty and skinny went to bed, fatty rolled over and skinny was dead.
Something I learned in art school: the artist has abosolute freedom to choose. Changing the words of my original post. My favorate way to play harmonica is using a lapel mic thru a PA system because I like the sound and the physical freedom. thanks to all
