"On Reverbnation, the top Denver area Country band has 191,000 fans. The top 
Metal band has 161,000. Hip Hop = 49,000. Rock = 23,000. 

The top Denver area blues band has about 5600 fans. My band has 1119 fans. 

Just sayin'..." 

And Denver actually has a pretty decent blues scene. But these numbers are 
startling. Is live blues dying out?
