   Horrible news.  Michael was one of the nicest, sweetest guys I ever met
at a SPAH convention.  Always up for playing.  He would roll into the blues
jam after the jazz jam closed down and lay down some very hip chromatic.
Always positive, upbeat, and as cordial as you could get.  Terrible loss.
