Hi guys. Can anyone tell me about the Manji harp? I was thinking about trying one, but would kind of like to get some feedback from the list.

Thank you to all who respond.

I have been using Manji harps almost exclusively for quite a while now, and have been quite impressed with them in every way. I like their playability very much, and they seem to hold up well. The one year warranty is a good feature though I've only had to send one back for repair. It was sent back in good condition with one reed replaced and is still working well.
I'm unsure about Richard Hunter's comment on replacing with Hammond covers. I haven't seen a Hammond in person, but from the pics it seems like a center screwed plate that would exchange with a Promaster or Firebreath. The Manji have a front mount screw unlike any other Suzuki harp I see. I personally haven't had trouble with the plates being weak, so it's a moot point with me anyway. My advice is, try one. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
