I was treated to an unannounced visit by Mick Jagger to a local historical blues club several years ago. He came in with a Strat in a chainsaw case and a small case full of harps. He can really play! About two hours later in came Eric Clapton, who was in town (he has an apartment in Miami) with Cheryl Crow at the Palm Beach amphitheater as a guest artist, and the small crowd was blessed to see these two just jamming. Did I mention that Mick can really play the harp?
if he can really play, this could be a very good thing for harp. as is often discussed
here, many of the best known musicians are not such great harp players. having
a very well known figure, one with serious rock/blues cred, play a harp like it's
supposed to be played would be a fine thing indeed.

i'm actually kind of impressed that mick would step outside what he's famous for
to do this. i hope he makes a go of it. that'd be good for all of us.
