[Harp-L] gear head
The addiction is to finding "the best" with the attachment to gear.
"the best" may be an illusion, like chasing that water covered highway in the distance on a long stretch of road in sunlight.
Looking for someone else to tell you what "the best" is is a substitute for deciding for yourself.
One of my favorite quotes '
"No One Knows What You Think They Do"

yes, it is a disease. I have it. but it's better than some of the addictions
I have had - at least I can re-sell my harp gear on eBay and craigslist.
couldn't do that with wine, women and whatever else you can name. let's see,
what's next - a Power greater than myself can restore me to sanity, right?
please, Lord, less gear hunting, more time practicing!
