[Harp-L] Foam Inserts for Hetrick Harp Case

I read a recent post about getting foam inserts for the Hetrick Harp case.

I have a solution. First, want to explain why our case is designed the way
it is.

The slots are the size they are so they can fit most harp models (except
turbolids). If we made them any smaller some models wouldn't fit. 2nd, I
have recently learned that you can fit 2 marine bands in one of our harp
slots (lining them up oppositely), which leaves the possibility of holding
up to 84 marine bands!

3rd, Richard Sleigh personally examined our case and liked it because the
extra space in the dividers lets the harps air out. We also drill extra
holes in the dividers for airing out. If you do not do this, your spit will
gum up the harp and create nasty green growth. There is a certain company
that makes foam insert harp cases that look similar to ours, I will just
tell you this:

They may advertise non-flaking foam, but that just isn’t true. All foam
flakes. Our dividers are made with lexan plexiglass and will last forever.
No foam flakes, no nasty after taste. In addition, placing your harps in
foam does not allow them to air out. To air out the harps in our case, you
simply leave the lid open. Nuff said.

Now if the rattling harps bother you, here is the solution. Get gray strips
of self adhesive weather stripping and stick it inside the slots. Problem
solved. Here is the model number from Home Depot:

MD Building Products 1/2 in. x 17 ft. Gray High-Density PVC Foam
Weatherstrip Tape

Model # 02311

Internet # 100166566

Store SKU # 618535

And one last plug, we now have 10 different comb models that fit 19 various
harp models. And as far as I know we are the cheapest on the net.
