Re: [Harp-L] Ken Leiboff playing traditional music on harp & uke.

Ken Leiboff told be that he was playing "American music" and of course
"Waltzing Matilda" couldn't be more Australian!
That was why I said "music in the traditional American style", when I
shared the link.
All the best,

Very nice Ken; but John, Ken's subject heading says 'traditional music'
not 'traditional American music,' which 'Waltzing Matilda' is certainly not,
coming from here in Australia, even if the melody might have started out in
Germany. Never have got to the bottom of this; there is another melody
known as 'the Queensland version' too, by the way.

This is excellent harmonica playing, in a rack, while Ken accompanies
himself on a ukulele.

It is music in the traditional American style, and I think that Ken
Leiboff, who comes from California, USA, plays it splendidly!
