I was mistaken about one thing, the antagonist didn't give the band lemons to
eat, he simply ate a very sour lemon within view. The band's mouths were so
drawn from watching him consume this lemon, the band could not play. In all, it
says a lot about how the harmonica was viewed back when it was written, I
believe in 1941.
