I use Romel's tools. They are good. Romel has now passed away, so you will have to find an alternative source, unless you can get them second hand.

Although you wrote that you did not want to hear this sort of thing, I have to say that these tools are designed not so much to replace rivets, but to allow for the easy replacement of reeds.

Romel himself never advocated (AFAIK) working with individual rivets. He did promote transplants -- taking a reed with rivet in place from one reedplate and using it in another. And he did advocate the use of screws (and his methods and tools provide a straightforward and reliable way to install a reed with a screw). I use both these methods to replace reeds.
