I'm sure I'd enjoy hearing those sounds. I use line 6 software and sometimes hardware for recording, and their amp and effect modeling is very good stuff.

Regarding recording from home, with harmonica it's usually pretty simple. Especially if you're using lots of FX, you probably are holding the mic and the harp in your hand, so you don't need to worry about the sound of the room, which is where 90 percent plus of all the big issues in recording come from. All you have to do is:

1) Get the sounds into the computer, which you can do very well with an inexpensive USB recording interface--for all I know the M13 has one built in, as the more recent Digitech RPs do. For that matter, if you've got a Zoom H4 or equivalent, you can record straight into that using the analog outs on the M13.

2) Record the sounds on the computer using some software designed for that purpose. Lots of choices here, but if you want to keep it simple Audacity works very well, and it's free.

That's all you need to record harp by itself. Pretty easy, though it took me years to figure it all out. But the fact is that it's a lot easier and less expensive now than it used to be.
