[Harp-L] Blues Asia Network's new online streaming radio-TV show

This Sunday I will be officially launching a new online radio-TV program,
called Blues Asia Network, of course. It will stream live every Sunday at
8-10 p.m., Manila time [or 8-10 a.m., US East Coast time].

It can be accessed from within Facebook -- just search for UR Faceradio.
Like the page, and then click on WATCH. If that does not bring up the
Ustream player, then try going direct to Ustream. Here are the links:

As far as I know, there is absolutely no other source for region-wide
information about blues in Asia and the Pacific. We also have a website,
which carries longer feature articles, as well as a Facebook page, with
brief announcements.

As part of the show, I will have a couple of "features" of interest to harp
players. Around 8:30 p.m., I will have the MUSIC MINUTE. This segment will
essentially educate musicians and fans about the universality of music --
and about how much everyone instinctively knows about music, usually without
realizing it. Essentially, we'll explore interval training.

Around 9:30 p.m., I will present the HARMONICA MINUTE, a way of encouraging
more people around Asia to take up blues harp.

Both will have a short explanation of a key point, followed by a video
illustrating the point.

I hope some of you will tune in, and perhaps provide some feedback. My
"instructional system" is quite different from what one normally encounters
-- and I hope it might eventually revolutionize harmonica instruction
world-wide. How's that for a lofty ambition.

In the meantime, take a look at our THEME SONG - VIDEO. You will be amazed
at how wide-spread the blues has become around Asia and the Pacific.
