Re: [Harp-L] seydel reed screw and valve

Simplest thing is to cut a slot in the top of the valve. Mine are usually U
shaped. so you have glued point of contact between the screw and slot and a
little on each side of the slot. It works.

Subject: [Harp-L] seydel reed screw and valve
I want to put a valve on a reed slot with a seydel screw holding the reed in
place.  The head of the screw protrudes from the rivet hole so I can't lay the
valve down flat on the slot.  What's the best solution to this problem?
Thanks,
