Way to do it, Grant. 


Assuming this was a thrown together workshop w/out rehearsal, Grant laid out for 2 versus to check out the form of the tune (straight format or "crooked" - with added beat or measure), the chord changes and how the vocalist weaves his voice over the guitar.



This is the thinking artist's approach. With 2 versus to evaluate and conceive of how to add to the music, Grant is confident and solid when entering. Much better than jumping in right away and thrashing your way through the tune.
