Re: [Harp-L] Dannekers harps price
I have... Perhaps.. a DOZEN... Antony Dannecker "Dannecker Blues"
Diatonics. I think they are great harmonicas... Probably as good as the best
diatonic harps ever built...But Tony has been fixing most of my harps for more
than 20 years...
Why?
Because I have not found any better harp tec.... ANYWHERE!
Of course there are (and were) others... the late Bill Romel was great at
fixing chromatics, and the late Chris Michaelek was good at setting up
short harps for over blows.
However, Michael Timler knows more about setting up a harmonica than most
any one, and he fixed up my ILUS "Renny" #8, to play better than it has
EVER played before....
Of course we all miss the late, great, Doug Tate...
John "Whiteboy" Walden
Just now, DEEP in the English countryside... On the Lincolnshire Fens...

I looked it up. 95 something for them. Was it English Pounds? (I'm not
sure of the symbol used.) If it is, that makes them $153 +or- a buck or
so.
Sounds in line for a top line harp from any of the makers.
Especially, if you can get them in a month or so. ;-)
