new Thread! Where do you grab the mic? (does not mean where do you touch it,
hold it) I mean where are you when you get the urge, and follow through,
playing harp thru a mic??
Following Buck's lead, I will start:
AIRPLANE CABIN
Sitting on the runway, waiting (too long) to deplane, I asked the flight
attendant if I could play my harp on her cabin PA/Phone. Something about
"hope there's no supervisors on board..."
Announcing myself grandiosely, I said "Ladies and gentlemen, from Phoenix
Arizona, the DUKE of WAIL!" and proceeded to play hooks from Low Rider and
Angel in the Centerfold, plus "I'm a Man" and the obligatory draw 4/5 trill.
Got a round of applause, and sat back down.
I have two more episodes, but I'll wait a turn.
Stay well
Play well
