You're welcome Paul.  I am glad it works for you, as it has for me on several 
harps.  I have no idea how many times this technique will work, but repeated 
reassemblies may require a tad of glue in the holes.  Of course bolts are the 
ultimate choice for repeated use.

Last week I asked for suggestions on how to tighten loose coverplate tacks. I 
received several replies. One person said to put a tiny drop of water into the 
holes and let the wood swell. This  is what I did and the fix worked great. I 
just wanted to thank him.
