Yes, that's true.  But when I look up passive volume pedals on Musiciansfriend.com, they run about $70-85, so one of those plus an RP70 costs the same as an RP255--but with that configuration you don't get all the amps, cabs and FX that go with the 255.

Just tell everybody that the RP weighs 300 pounds.  That's right, THREE HUNDRED POUNDS.  Get a hand truck to carry it around.  They'll believe you.
