After the success of last year’s Bingo! album (recently nominated as blues rock album of the year by the Blues Foundation), Steve Miller will release Let Your Hair Down on April 19.

The album features the final recordings of harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo, Miller’s “partner in harmony” for thirty-three years. Pink Floyd album cover artist Storm Thorgerson, who did the cover to Bingo!, again provides the art for the album cover.

The Steve Miller Band will perform material fromLet Your Hair Down at a gala concert opening the new multi-million dollar performance facility built for the long-running music TV series, Austin City Limits, on February 24.

Miller is planning a series of theater and small arena dates in mid-April through the South and East Coast with Gregg Allman.
