Steve,

B is probably the least used harmonica.  But I've been sitting in  
with a funk band lately and F# seems to get called more often playing  
funk than it does for rock, blues or straight R&B.  So I've been  
getting use out of my B harp.

A serious player should carry all 12 keys. Carrying spares in the  
most used keys is not a bad idea either,
