Too true. However, for big electric gigs as well, the Bose unit is outstanding.
Have used it for harmonica alone on outdoor stage as well as running vocals, keys, trumpet, bass, percussion and kick drum all at the same time.
For small acoustic gigs the Bose is very good.

Attached playing through my friends Bose with a Harp Commander 3 and Digitech RP 200 (reverb only, no amp effect). For small acoustic gigs the Bose is very good.
